Indexical Moment/um is a series of musical performances by electronic musician and scholar Jeramy Decristo and percussionist Marshall R. Trammell. The two will perform duos exploring the dialogic formations of creative momentum in the rich setting of the Prelinger Library. Mr. DeCristo’s research includes “Black Sounds and their Fugitive Lives in Capture” and “Blackness and the Writing of Sound in Modernity.” Mr. Trammell is artist/researcher in residence in the Library. Audiences are invited for vegan donuts, tea and assistance with documenting the event.

This event gets going at 6 p.m. on the 17th of May which is a Library Wednesday, and will overlap with public open hours.

The Library is very excited and proud to have Marshall Trammell as artist/researcher in residence for 2017.
